Student Groups

2013-2014 Arrowhead Student Groups

Our student groups are designed with our students' needs in mind. Groups help students to find support in their peers and are a fun way to establish the tools needed to enhance a child's development. The goal of student groups is to increase students' developmental experience while not disturbing their academic day. Please note that participation in groups is optional and requires parental consent. Parent Permission form for student groups. If you would like your child to participate in any of the student groups listed or if you have any further questions please contact the guidance office.

Group Title	Group Description
Arrowhead Explorers	This is a new student group designed to welcome new explorers to Arrowhead and provide friendship building skills.
The Colorful Chameleons	Through this group we will work to build friendships, enhance social interactions, and build confidence with a social support system.
"It Wasn't Me"	Changing families are a reality and this group is designed to empower the student and embrace these changes, while creating peer support through activities and discussion.
Controlling The Volcano	Sometimes it's hard to keep our cool when a volcano inside of us is ready to erupt. This group will promote positive reactions and conscious choices.
Stress Erasers	This group is designed to help erase stresses and enhance each child's overall academic/social experience while promoting new coping mechanisms.The goal of this group is to provide study techniques and strengthen the student's academic experience with newly learned tools.
Arrowhead's Academic Artists	The goal of this group is to provide study techniques and strengthen the student's academic experience with newly learned tools.
